Steve Sax

Stephen Louis Sax (born January 29, 1960 in West Sacramento, California) is a former star second baseman in Major League Baseball. He was a right-handed batter for the Los Angeles Dodgers in (1981-1988), New York Yankees in (1989-1991), Chicago White Sox in (1992-1993), and the Oakland Athletics in (1994).
In 1992 He played for the Springfield Nuclear Powerplant softball team. His team manager and owner Mr Burns made a million dollar bet with Aristotle Amadopoulos, owner of the Shelbyville Power plant, that his team will win. So Mr Burns hired the rigger at he plant and play the softball. After practice Steve Sax gets pulled over by Chief Wiggum and Lou. They give him a hard time about living in New York and decide he is to blame for all the crime in Springfield and lock him up. You later find out that he has gotten charged with Seven life sentences and cannot play the softball game.
